What does DC Hold mean?

A DC Hold simply means the distribution center warehouse has placed a hold on an order. An order can have a DC hold for a few different reasons.

Here are a few examples:

  • A work order is attached to the order and has not yet been completed
  • No customs value was entered on an international order
  • The order is awaiting a shipping label or there was an error printing the shipping label (payment terms not allowed, address errors, etc.)

If assistance is needed from the client to remove a DC hold from an order, the client will be contacted via email.
