When creating and submitting an Advanced Shipment Notice, AutoRelease is automatically checked. If you do not want your inventory to be readily available for customer purchase after receiving, please uncheck the AutoRelease button when creating the ASN.
If your inventory has been AutoReleased, the products in the shipment will be immediately available after the receiving process.
If your inventory has not been AutoReleased, clients will have access to the ASN via OWD's customer portal in order to release the inventory when ready. If you choose not to AutoRelease your inventory, please leave a note in the Comments area of the ASN to indicate what should be done with the inventory upon receiving.
