What does a partial ASN mean?

A partial ASN means the ASN has been partially received. This can mean one of two things: the shipment is still in the process of being received or there is a difference between 'expected' and 'delivered' for one or more items.

For very large inbound shipments, it may take multiple business days to receive the shipment. Anytime a shipment is still being received after working hours, the status will remain as 'Partial' until the receive is complete.

If an item arrives damaged or an item is missing from the shipment, this would cause the expected inventory to exceed the delivered inventory, thus causing a negative difference on your ASN report. This will also cause the ASN to have a 'partial' status.

If you would like to remove the ASN from the Partial Receive list, you may mark the receive as complete.
